• Established an Agile process for recording and increasing the transparency of architecture decisions, reducing the need for slow-moving governance such as architecture review boards.
• Connected people from a range of disciplines across the organization through initiatives such as standardizing communication processes in MS Teams and running a leadership book club.
• Led a presentation series called "Architecture Assembly", bringing together ~200 people from Product and Engineering each week.

Web Front End Architect

• Recruited a diverse team of talented and motivated engineers and led the development of a new web application for Walgreens Health.
• Architected a world-class component library and CI/CD pipeline built on modern tools and technologies, including Web Components (Lit Element), TypeScript, ESLint, Jest, Stryker, Playwright, Storybook, Style Dictionary, and GitHub Actions.

2018-2021 Jack Henry & Associates

Software Engineer, Advisory / Software Engineering Manager

• Invented a DSL that decouples business rules from presentation and led the development of an expansive web component library, reducing cycle time from weeks to hours.
• Organized a small team who, meeting one another for the first time, with a technology no one had prior experience using (Xamarin), with limited support from the larger organization, worked closely with customers and brought a successful mobile app to market in six months.
• Formally managed a team of 11 user interface (JavaScript) and middleware (C#) engineers; established a Kanban-based process to support customer issues quickly and efficiently.

• Established a framework to measurably improve test automation across 20 repositories spanning Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, and Scala.
• Spearheaded an effort that saw the bug count drop from more than 500 to less than 100 in two months.
